About Our Pastor

Dr. Julio Volcy is an international motivational speaker, a practical bible teacher, an authority in the area of leadership, and a consultant to business and ministries. He has a life changing story and a unique style to share it to others. He was born in one of the poorest villages in the country of Haiti. Raised in a broken home and extreme poverty, but early in life he received a revelation from God's word base on Mark 9:23... Everything is possible to him who believes…" these words challenged him to reach his maximum potential, aim for the best in life, and give others hope of a better tomorrow. While still young, he began to do just that through evangelism in his community, helping North American missionaries and lead short-term teams working in his native island of Haiti. In 1999 he migrated to the United States as a student to gain more education.

Dr. Volcy is the founder of Hope Outreach International (HOI), a non-profit (501) (C) (3) Christian organization. HOI's vision has been to entrust the Haitian people to help them to take care of themselves. We have concentrated our efforts in the development of schools, the identification of young leaders, the organization of communities ,the development of working programs and medical humanitarian missions. Our motto is: Helping Haitians Help Haitians.

Dr. Volcy is the founder and senior Pastor of Hope Community Church (HCC) in Bradenton, Florida, and he is a leader and leadership trainer to several Haitian based Christian Organizations. He current serving in numerous Boards for national and international organizations such as Guardian Angels, Haiti Share ect. He describes his work as a ministry that is helping people from all walks of life to reach their maximum potential and to aim for their best in life. His ministry has been changing lives around the globe through preaching, teaching, leadership and ministry training. He is the leadership contributing writer for various magazines and newsletters, including Hope of a Better Life a quarterly publication of Hope Outreach International and Le Theophore, the Haitian Ministry leadership and ministry magazine, a quarterly international publication for Haitian leaders.

He has earned a Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies from Beacon University, in Atlanta, GA two masters degree in Theology and Divinity, and a Doctorate Degree of Ministry from Christian Life School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Volcy also received numerous hours of training in the area of leadership, world mission, church planting and the non-profit sector .

He is married to HCC co-founder Suzette; she has a heart for youth and women, she is an acclaimed youth and women's speaker and is an active leader in the Haitian community. She earned a Bachelor and a Masters degree in Social Work. Dr. Volcy and his wife, Suzette, travel as a team to touch the needy and the poor and are involved in teaching seminars together. Both are leaders who minister with sensitive hearts and international vision. They are the proud parents of three beautiful children; Julionn, Jyathniel, Joy and they live in Florida.
